A: So it turns out that the sunscreen we often use contains ingredients that are harmful for the environment? In order to protect fish and coral, Palau has banned the use and sale of sunscreen.

原来我们日常使用的防晒霜里含有对环境有害的成分？帕劳为了保护鱼类和珊瑚,今年开始,禁止使用或出售防晒霜。

(yuánlái wǒmén rìchánɡ shǐyònɡ de fánɡshàishuānɡ lǐ hányǒu duì huánjìnɡ yǒuhài de chénɡfēn pàláo wéile bǎohù yúlèi hé shānhú, jīnnián kāishǐ, jìnzhǐ shǐyònɡ huò chūshòu fánɡshàishuānɡ.)  

B: I've never seen such a direct law. This country really has a strong attitude toward environmental protection. 

我从来没见过这么直接的法令。这个国家在环保方面的态度很强硬嘛。

(wǒ cónɡlái méi jiànɡuò zhème zhíjiē de fǎlìnɡ. zhèɡè ɡuójiā zài huánbǎo fānɡmiàn de tàidù hěn qiánɡyìnɡ ma.)

A: Yup. But our skin care products also has similar ingredients, so you can't completely avoid them.

对。但是我们的护肤品里面还是有类似的有毒成分,不能完全避免。

(duì. dànshì wǒmén de hùfūpǐn lǐmiàn háishì yǒu lèisì de yǒudú chénɡfèn, bùnénɡ wánquán bìmiǎn.)

B: Well, they're doing their best.
