The United States and NATO will withdraw all troops in Afghanistan within 14 months if the Taliban upholds its commitments, says a joint statement released by the US and the Afghan governments on Saturday. 

The agreement was released ahead of a signing ceremony between the US and the Taliban in Qatar's capital Doha. 

The US would initially reduce its forces in Afghanistan to 8,600 within 135 days of the US-Taliban agreement.
