A makeshift hospital ceased operation in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, on Wednesday as the coronavirus epidemic wanes.

Wuhan Leishenshan (Thunder God Mountain) Hospital was built in 10 days to treat COVID-19 patients.

COVID-19 patients at the Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals would be transferred to four large hospitals in Wuhan for high-quality medical resources by April 15, said Jiao Yahui, an official with the National Health Commission on April 11. "We hope to secure the patients the most effective treatment by placing them at the four hospitals with high-quality medical resources in the city," Jiao said.

No new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported in central China's Hubei Province Tuesday, local health authority said Wednesday.
