The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) on Saturday will stage an online concert for its housebound audiences due to the epidemic, the second of the NCPA's serial concerts "Spring Online."

The Resonance of Destiny, Saturday's concert will present a mix of classical pieces Piano Quartet in A Minor by Mahler, String Quartet No. 1 in D Major, Op.11 by Tchaikovsky and percussion duet composed by the China NCPA Orchestra's percussionist Liu Heng, according to the website of the NCPA.
Audiences can enjoy the live performance at 7:30 pm Saturday via multiple platforms, including the NCPA's website and NCPA Classical Music Channel, while some online audio platforms will also air the music concert simultaneously.
The musical series is aimed at delivering a message of hope and passing on strength through music amid the fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic, according to the NCPA.
According to the site, the online serial concerts will air for audiences weekly until the NCPA resumes normal performances.
