The Sea World Culture & Arts Center in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province will host a major art exhibition on June 20 to review and rethink contemporary art in China.
According to exhibition curator Ge Yujun, the
Community: 2020 Shenzhen Contemporary Art Exhibition hosted by Baozhen Art and China Merchants Culture Industry has invited a dozen of China's renowned and young artists to present a picture of China's path toward contemporary art and art education with acedemic support from CAFA.
As one of the most developed cities in China, Shenzhen is playing a key role in building a shared community for humanity throughout the entire country. The exhibition marks a new attempt to bring art to the city with works from Chinese artists such as Dai Ze, Xue Yongnian and He Duoling.
The exhibition is set to run until July 3.
