The national sailing championships came to an end on Sunday in Weifang, East China's Shandong Province, with local favorite Ding Mingliang and Liu Tianhuo of Team Shandong claiming the highly anticipated men's 49ers race.

In the women's 49ers, Chen Shasha and Wang Mengting of Team Zhejiang won the race with a dominating performance. 

Competitions for the windsurfing disciplines, which have been included in the Paris 2024 Olympics, have been fierce at the 2020 nationals, though the contestants are mainly coming from RS:X disciplines. 

Yang Minhai of Team Xinjiang shrugged off his opponents to win the men's title after training in the discipline for two months, while the women's title went to Zheng Manjia of Team Guangdong.
