An international parkour race will be held in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang Province on Saturday, as around 50 world elite athletes are expected to take part in the event.

The Belt and Road International Parkour Masters, initiated by the Chinese Extreme Sports Association in 2019, has attracted several top foreign athletes who have been recently training in China, organizers said. 

The parkour practitioners aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment, in the quickest and most efficient way possible.

Enthusiasts in Ningbo can also apply for a parkour course through on-site registration.
