The US on Sunday said a new humanitarian cease-fire will take effect on Monday in the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, even as fresh fighting erupted between the two sides.
The latest cease-fire is due to take effect at 8 am local time on Monday, the US State Department and the governments of Azerbaijan and Armenia said in a joint statement.
