China's MMA world champion Xiong "The Panda" Jingnan put on an impressive striking display on Friday to defend her women's strawweight world title at the One Championship through a unanimous decision in a rematch with Tiffany Teo of Singapore.

The challenger was far more competitive this time than during their first encounter nearly three years ago and almost shocked the world with a late rally.

However, it was still not enough to stop her Chinese rival, who was more aggressive and effective with her punches and kicks, to earn the victory at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Also that night, Reinier de Ridder stunned Myanmar's middleweight world champion La N Sang with a first-round rear-naked choke in Singapore to claim the title, ending the Myanmar sports icon's seven-bout winning streak with his own near-perfect performance.

Singapore home favorite Christian Lee had a quick finish over his contender Iuri Lapicus by a technical knockout victory to retain his lightweight world title. 

Vietnamese-American Thanh Le shocked the world with a third-round knockout over featherweight defending champion Martin Nguyen to become the king of the division. 

India's wrestling icon Ritu Phogat has also earned herself a spot in the future ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix after defeating Kun Khmer World Champion Nou Srey Pov with a technical knockout in the second round of their atomweight mixed martial arts contest.

With the victory, Phogat kept her perfect record intact and took a step closer toward her ultimate goal of becoming India's first-ever MMA world champion.
