One of the prisoners that escaped by helicopter from a prison in Belgium has been captured by police in Morocco, VRT news reported Sunday.
Ashraf Sekkaki, together with Abdelhaq Melloul Khayari and Mohamed Johri, broke out of the high-security prison near Bruges, 90 km west of Brussels, by helicopter on July 23. Over a week ago, Khayari was arrested in Brussels. Sekkaki and Johri fled to Morocco. Johri was arrested last Thursday by the police in Morocco. Sekkaki was injured but fled into the Moroccan hills.
Lesley Deckers, Johri's girlfriend, is still at large. She was the one who rented the helicopter used to break out of the Bruges high security prison.
