Chinese singer Tong Yao, closely resembling Teresa Teng both in looks and voice, presented a special tribute concert at Poly Theater last Saturday. Tang died on May 8 fifteen years ago from an asthma attack. The concert, named A Musical Tribute to Unforgettable Teresa Teng, aimed to replicate the style of Teresa Teng in 1973, a year after she joined the show's producer, the Lifeng Record Label.

The label also released a special album with 20 popular songs by Teresa Teng, many of which were never before released in the Chinese mainland.
