About A380 |
The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner manufactured by the European corporation Airbus, a subsidiary of EADS. It is the world's largest passenger airliner with seating for 525 people. The A380 made its maiden flight on April 27, 2005 and entered initial commercial service in October 2007 with Singapore Airlines. There are 69 A380 serving around the world today. In October 2010, China Southern bought the first A380 in China, flying between Beijing and Guangzhou. Today, the company has three A380 serving its passengers. |
