A plane drops water on a wildfire on Tuesday north of Santa Barbara near Santa Ynez, California. Forward progress had been stopped last night on a 170-acre grass fire in Santa Ynez, however, the blaze had not been contained as of press time, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. Fire Captain David Sadecki said the Sheriff's Department had given an evacuation warning to 2,000 residents.
