A street in Jinan, Shandong Province was dubbed "the narrowest sidewalk in history" by people.com.cn, boasting a width of only 20 centimeters.

The sidewalk, located opposite Quancheng Middle School on Yunshu street in Jinan, can only accommodate one person at a time and requires a bit of balance.

Although there is no official record for narrow sidewalks, Germany gets credit for the world's narrowest street. According to Guinness World Records, the Spreuerhofstraße is a small alley in Reutlingen that measures 31 centimeters at its most narrow. It does not have a sidewalk.
