A luxury car gaudy enough to make a pimp blush was featured at the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) held in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province on October 25, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The gold-slathered BMW Z4, complete with solid gold rims, is customized to resemble a winged Chinese dragon made from 30,000 yak leg bones plated with 1,999 sheets of gold leaf.

The massive sculpture, created by Guangzhou sculptor Su Zhongyang, required the help of 19 assistants over three and a half years to create.

The intricately carved bone also bears inscriptions from the sacred Buddhist text the Diamond Sutra and 3,999 smaller dragon patterns worked into the design.
