Finding surrogate mothers for tiger cubs is not uncommon. A dog similarly adopted three abandoned tiger cubs at Sochi Zoo in Russia last December, reported the BBC. The Siberian tiger, which once populated part of Northern China, Russia and North Korea, is now a critically endangered species.
