The photo taken on February 2, 2015 shows that the promotion campaign of European Panda Fans Traveling to Sichuan is held in Vienna Zoo, located on the grounds of the famous Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria. The campaign was launched at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan province of Southwest China in November, 2014. It was expected to select 12 panda fans from six European countries including UK, France, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Austria. They would join a 40-person self-driving team, consisting of the selected pandas fans, experts and cultural celebrities working in the fields related to the pandas and Southern Silk Road as well as international media professionals. The team would depart from Europe in April 2015, traveling about 20,000 kms across the Euro-asian Continent for two months to the destination of Sichuan province. Photo: Xinhua
