After the 2014 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings, Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island, an iconic, scallop-shaped building in Huairou district has become increasingly popular. Serving as the primary location for APEC meetings, Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island played an important role for APEC's smooth progress and provided top quality services for everyone involved. Located alongside the picturesque Yanqi Lake with magnificent views of Yanshan Mountain, and the Mutianyu Great Wall, Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island offers meeting planners an exciting brand new option of a fully-integrated MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) destination in Beijing. In the case of BIFF, the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island has once again proved its superior excellence among hotels with its unique geographical location and environment.
"Far from monotonous, no two buildings are alike. Our hotel embodies the shape of the rising sun and symbolizes harmony, unity and infinity, while the Yanqi Hotel on Yanqi Island is designed with a combination of natural elements and exudes the richness of diverse world culture gathering in one harmonious place," said Brice Péan, General Manager of Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island.
