Avid golf photographers are invited to show off their skills in a competition linked to the prestigious Hainan Open. Up for grabs is a main prize of 10,000 yuan ($1,610) or prizes of equal value. The competition was launched on July 10 at the Jingdu Golf Club in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, where the 9th round of the 2015 Hainan Open took place.

The 2015 Hainan Open started in April and will last until October, with tournaments in 20 provincial cities in China as well as five overseas countries. 

The photographic competition will run from July to December. Interested participants can apply to take part through the official WeChat account or on the competition website.There will be winners in several categories. Applicants are welcome to take photos related to golf and Hainan Province. Liu Pingjiu, secretary general of the Hainan Open's organizing committee  said at the launch that the competition will be themed around the abundant golf tourism resources and the 2015 Hannan Open tournaments.
