The second season of
Long Time No See, an online series adapted from the Chinese online novel of the same name, is scheduled to make its debut on streaming site Sohu TV on Monday in celebration of the upcoming New Year Holiday.
According to a press conference in Beijing on Wednesday, the streaming site-produced drama will continue the story of "the team of five," including the characters Fang Hui and Qiao Ran, from the 2014 season.

With the first season ending with the group's graduation, audiences were left wondering what happened to the group after that. The new second season looks to answer that question. The new season will see the return of the character of Qiao Ran as well resolve his unspoken feeling for the character Fang Hui.
"It is kind of difficult to shoot a young and pure romance drama. However, it is worth doing during a time when there are so many ghost and monster- themed dramas," said Li Yuan, the director and script writer.
Starring a cast of new faces, the drama has built a reputation for quality acting and storytelling among audiences in China.
Sohu TV CEO Zhang Chaoyang also unveiled the site's future plans for streaming content at the press conference. After series such as
Diors Man,
Wu Xin: The Monster Killer, and
Close Your Eyes and Close to You, Sohu TV will increase investment into streaming content and seek to work with professional teams.
