A mass wedding ceremony of 100 couples dressed in traditional Han costume was held at the base of the Grand Buddha in Lushan county, Central China’s Henan Province on August 26. The event, themed “Han style, ancient charm,” saw brides and grooms donning ancient dress at the foot of the tourist area’s famed 208-meter-high Buddha statue.
