Living life on the edge

This intrepid goat looks on top of the world as it lives life on the edge. Perched high up in the Italian Alps, the ibex looks perplexed at its encounter with photographer Stefano Marsi. Ibexes often scale extreme cliff faces in order to feed on mineral salts which can be found on the rocks. Their split hooves can act as pincers and allow them to live 10,000ft above sea level.(Photo/VCG)
