Editor's Note:
Built in 1143, Prague’s Strahov Monastery is one of the Czech Republic’s most celebrated treasures. Founded by a Premonstratensian order of the Catholic Church, the monastery is most known for its Baroque library. Filled with ornate murals, science exhibits and ancient books, the library captures the spirit of the time it was built. Photos: Shen Zhen/huanqiu.com
