Shanghai History Museum officially opened to public on Monday. As a comprehensive museum focusing on local history, it presents the 6,000-year history of the area of 6,000 square kilometers administrated by Shanghai. The museum is located at No.325 Nanjing Xi Road. The outstanding modern building with a history of more than 80 years, used to be Shanghai Race Club, the Shanghai Museum, the Shanghai Library, and the Shanghai Art Museum. (Photos: Yang Hui/GT)
