A dedicated father with no mechanical training manufactured the world’s first fan-built Optimus Prime truck. The 36-year-old Joe Fiduccia, from Monroe County, Pennsylvania, worked day and night, starting in 2016, to recreate a full-size replica, weighing around 21,000lbs, to show his 10-year-old son that anything is possible. Optimus Prime is one of the most renowned characters to hit the silver screens, as he’s from the hugely successful Transformers franchise that has taken more than $4 billion at the box office worldwide.
