Editor's Note:
An interactive light installation, titled “Halo”, illuminated the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey during a press preview evening on September 27, 2018, in Helmsley, UK. The work designed by musician and artist Michael Davis includes an interactive light and sound installation, which responds to touch. It will illuminate the abbey from September 28 to September 30. The former Cistercian abbey, near Helmsley in North Yorkshire, was one of the great abbeys in Britain until it was seized by Henry VIII of England in 1538 during the dissolution of the monasteries.
