Editor's Note:
The Sichuan-Tibet railway was one of the world’s most difficult railways to build. It goes from 500 meters to more than 4,000 meters above sea level. Like a roller coaster through mountains and valleys, the railway climbs and descends eight times, rising a cumulative 14,000 meters. (Photos:VCG)
