Editor's Note:
The Tower of London’s dry moat was filled with lit torches to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War in London, UK. The lit torches make up the installation ”Beyond The Deepening Shadow: The Tower Remembers” that will be lit from 5-9 pm every evening until Armistice day on Sunday, November 11, 2018. The installation is a part of a nationwide series of events to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War. (Photos: Chris J Ratcliffe/Getty Images/VCG)
