Five people died and were five injured on Wednesday after a amphibian plane hit a highway bridge in Shanghai.

The Cessna plane (aircraft number B-10FW) was making its maiden flight with 10 passengers on board when it struck the Jinshan district bridge.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
