Many of Beijing's famous hutong streets have remained quiet recently, as each hutong community in both Dongcheng and Xicheng district has implement the policy of being completely closed, to control the spread of COVID-19. Communities will give entry passes to community residents, community staff and temporary residents. Also, each community strictly registers cars and people that enter and leave.
