In the heat of Olympic competition it can be difficult to keep one's composure. Victors burst into tears as they are overcome by the enormity of their achievements, while defeated athletes shed tears of sorrow as their dreams of winning gold lay shattered. Let us experience both the joy and sorrow of the 2016 Olympic Games, with a look at the many tearful faces of Rio.
