Six municipal parks in Shanghai reopened to tourists on Friday as the COVID-19 outbreak subsides in the city. Wearing a mask is a must to enter the Shanghai Botanical Garden in Xuhui District. To keep tourists flow at a reasonable level, the garden asks visitors to make an appointment. Before entering the park, visitors need to show their health code or ID card. The reopening of the park was orderly and stable. A staffer at the Garden told Global Times that only 100 people had made an appointment on Friday while the Garden can receive 10,000 visitors per day. To curb the coronavirus spread, parks in Shanghai are required to limit their tourist flow by 50 percent of its maximum capacity. Other city parks will open for tourists gradually, according to reports.
