Editor's Note:
A cargo freight train, X8015/6, departed from Wuhan, Hubei Province on Saturday, carrying 50 containers of supplies to Europe, signaling the resumption of China-EU freight transport. This is the first China-EU cargo freight train service after the city was locked down due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in January. 90 percent of the supplies are from the local companies in Wuhan, including 166.4 tons of medical (textiles) supplies. The train will arrive in Germany a fortnight later, thereafter, the supplies will be dispatched to France, Germany, Poland, Czech and other European countries. (Photos: Cui Meng/GT)
