The annual Xintiandi Design Festival kicked off in Shanghai’s landmark Xintiandi area, on Monday, with 25 pop-up stores and installations. The festival, which will continue until June 8, aims to impel people to introspect on the surrounding and self, in this post-COVID-19 juncture.
