Editor's Note:
China's National Immigration Administration organized four immigration management agencies in Jilin, Shanghai, Yunnan and Xinjiang to conduct emergency response and real combat drills at the frontlines on June 30.
Nearly 1,000 sets of police equipment, including emergency vehicles, drones, police dogs and communications equipment, were deployed during the training exercises. More than 2,100 specialists attended the drills, including six frontier inspection authorities and police squads from the border administrative department, PLA officers and soldiers.
The drills included countering illegal trespassing, cross-border crimes, terrorist attacks, and handling emergency public health incidents.
