Shanghai’s Macalline Cinema World started prepping on Sunday for Mondays’ reopening including a full disinfection of every theater.   Only a third of seats in each screening hall will be available to moviegoers who will occupy rows of seats in a checkerboard style. Moviegoers who don’t know one another will be required to keep a distance of at least one meter.   The China Film Administration announced last week that Chinese movie theaters in low-risk areas will be allowed to reopen on Monday, in another indication the COVID-19 epidemic in China is on the wane.
