Over the past 40 years of China's economic
reform and opening-up, the roles of Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong Province,
and its neighbor Hong Kong have always been complimentary, supporting each
other and jointly exploiting more opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
More and more Hong Kong entrepreneurs are
coming to Shenzhen to start their business who are also obsessed with rapid
technology development in Shenzhen, for example, face scans for mobile
payments, ultra-fast 5G networks, service robots that deliver food and beverage
to the doorsteps.
The proximity and growth prospects of the two
cities help them complement each other, as they see growing business
