Floral decoration work at Tiananmen Square and along Chang’an Avenue is underway in Beijing in preparation for China’s National Day, which falls on October 1.
In addition to a giant flower basket that says “Bless the motherland” as in previous years at Tiananmen square, 10 exquisite flower beds will be arranged along Chang’an Avenue, 7,000 square meters of flowers and plants will be planted, while flowers will also be displayed in 100 vessels.
