As a major landmark of the city, St. Vitus Cathedral is one of the most popular tourist spots in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. Located in the third courtyard of Prague Castle, construction on the current Gothic cathedral took nearly 700 years to complete, with the final touches being made in 1929. It is also the resting place of a number of Bohemian royals and Holy Roman Emperors, including St. Wenceslas and St. John Nepomucene. Photo: Courtesy of Gu Wei
