As the world’s largest manufacturer and consumer market, China has recorded positive growth in trade in recent months. As a result, the port of Shanghai saw record high container volumes in Oct, exceeding 4 million TEU. The port saw a large number of containers shipping between Shanghai and ASEAN countries since beginning of this year, followed by other major trading partners of China, including the US, and EU.
