The frozen section of the Jingshen Seafood Market in Beijing has been closed since the confirmed cases in June, and the market has tightened its control of cold-chain products and flow of personnel to curb the spread of COVID-19.
All private businesses in the venue have been suspended and the freezers have been all emptied; only live seafood is available at the moment, which individuals can only purchase by means of intra-city express delivery, since all the cold chain systems have been shut.
All merchants and staff must report their health status and body temperature on the market’s app one day in advance before entering the venue. Photos: Li Hao/GT
