Editor's Note:
A ceremony and exhibition for the returned bronze horse zodiac head was held at the Old Summer Palace in Beijing on Tuesday. It was part of a complex water clock that stood outside the Haitang Hall of the West Building of the Yuanmingyuan Garden during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The statue, which was stolen by invading forces when Anglo-French Alliance Forces razed the #OldSummerPalace in 1860, has finally been returned to its home after 160 years. The statue becomes the first major historical cultural relic to be returned to China after being lost overseas. (Photos: Li Hao/GT)
