The spectacular show “The Great Journey” was staged on Monday in Beijing’s National Stadium. The roughly 20,000 spectators in attendance were moved by stories of the ups and downs the century-old Party has experienced. The performance was divided into four parts, and depicted how the Chinese people, under the leadership of the CPC, have revolutionarily constructed and reformed the country over the past 100 years.
