In the men's 1000m quarterfinals for short track speed skating at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on Feb 7, 2022, Chinese skater Wu Dajing finished second in his group. Penalty results showed Italian and Canadian players committed fouls, and Wu advanced to the semifinals. Chinese skater Ren Ziwei led all the way in group 3, but was fouled by his opponent and knocked to the sidelines at the last minute.
