More than 48,000 students in Beijing today entered sites for gaokao, the national college entrance examination. Compared with previous years, this year's test centers are more specific. Besides regular test sites, there are test centers for areas of epidemic control, centralized medical observation and medical treatment. The test staff fully implemented the requirements of vaccination, negative nucleic acid test results within 48 hours, and health monitoring 14 days before the test. Each test center is also equipped with a deputy chief and a full-time epidemic prevention officer responsible for epidemic prevention and control and emergency response. According to the arrangement of the Beijing Education Examination Institute, after the test on the afternoons of July 7 and 8, the test centers will organize examinees to take nucleic acid tests.
