At Taopu Community Health Service Center in Shanghai on Wednesday, a Global Times reporter saw how medical treatment was done. The number of patients visiting a fever clinic this week has reduced to around 40 to 50 visits a day in the local community center, compared with a peak of around 250 at the end of December. At another community center in Minhang district, patients visiting fever clinics had also reduced. Community health centers play a role in reducing pressure caused by crowding at large hospitals.
