Inside the Import & Export Processing and Manufacturing Base of the Ruili Industrial Park, Myanmar workers, accounting for roughly 80% of the base's workforce, are busy completing tasks at assembly lines on Jan 10, 2023. Over the past three years, the base, a main manufacturing hub in Ruili, home to the largest land port on the China-Myanmar border, has worked largely at full speed. Firms in the base are currently hoping for the reopening of borders to inject new vitality into the local economy.
