The China Diving National Championships 2023 & Qualification for Paris Olympic Games 2024, Fukuoka World Aquatics Championships 2023, Hangzhou Asian Games and Chengdu World University Games are being held in Shanghai between March 19 and 25. As an important event for selecting Paris Olympic Games candidates, the event gathers top Chinese divers including six Olympic champions and 13 world champions, such as Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi. The venue sees a big audience, who hasn’t experienced sport competitions in person for months because of the COVID-19. As one of the first sport events welcoming an offline audience, the diving championships have been so popular among Shanghai citizens that almost all the tickets were sold out.Photo: Chen Xia/GT
