China’s 2023 National Science and Technology Week kicked off on May 20, 2023 and will run for 12 days, making it the longest event of its kind in history. With more than 1.2 million square meters of exhibition space and nearly 300 exhibits, the Beijing Science and Technology Week showcases 86 innovative achievements in 10 fields, including artificial intelligence, high-performance computing chips, quantum technology, medicine and health, commercial aerospace, intelligent equipment, robotics, new materials, metaverse, and new energy and energy storage. It is a nationwide science popularization event with high public participation, wide coverage and significant social impact.
