A group of 21 reporters from 15 media outlets from Honduras on Thursday kicked off their trip to China ahead of President of the Republic of Honduras Iris Xiomara Castro Sarmiento’s state visit to China. They visited the memorial of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai on Thursday. The reporters also went to the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center, a year-round display and trading platform for the China International Import Expo. They are scheduled to visit Beijing and Shanghai. President Sarmiento will pay a state visit to China from June 9 to 14, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday. Photos: Lu Ting/GT
